Yes! It's a great value and it is Jackson State University's policy that all designated campus residents purchase a meal plan each semester.
Tiger Bucks are cash values included in all meal plans. They work like a prepaid debit card with funds kept on your student ID card. Tiger Bucks may be used at any on-campus dining location except WOW Cafe. Tiger Bucks do NOT roll over semester to semester.
Add-on Tiger Bucks
Add-on Tiger Bucks are cash values, but are NOT included in meal plans. They work like a prepaid debit card with funds kept on your student ID card. Add-on Tiger Bucks may be used at any on-campus dining location except WOW Cafe. Add-on Tiger Bucks roll over from Fall to Spring semester, but NOT Spring to Summer to semester. Students, faculty, and staff can purchase Add-on Tiger Bucks at any time during the school year at the JSU Dining Services office, on the 1st floor, located in the Student Center Building.
No, all Add-on Tiger Bucks must be used in the semester in which they were purchased. Any remaining Tiger Bucks will be forfeited at the conclusion of the semester.
Block meals may be used during the semester in which they are purchased. They do not carry over from semester to semester.
Yes! Changing to a bigger or smaller meal plan can be done during the first week of school and no later than the 20th day of class. Changes can be made in the J L Reddix Building.
If you live off-campus, you can purchase a traditional meal plan in the J L Reddix Building. We have designed special meal plans just for you called Block Plans. Choose the plan that best meets your on campus dining needs!
